Dan Pourhadi
Dan Pourhadi is a semi-noted (he likes to think) Mac enthusiast and critic whose writings have mysteriously appeared in various publications, including MacAddict and MacDirectory magazines, TidBITS, Macteens, Macsimum News, Chicago’s Daily Herald newspaper, Northwest Passages, as well as numerous Mac User Group newsletters across the world. He was a tech editor for the Leopard edition of Mac OS X: The Missing Manual (the best-selling Mac book in the world), is a contributor to the MacVoices podcast, and (semi-)regularly gives presentations on various technologies to MUGs and Apple Stores in the Chicago area.
He blogged for over a year and a half at The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW), and now writes forMacworld’s Mac blog, MacUser. He’s been called a “celebrity blogger” by his Web Design professor, and a “guy who writes stuff nobody reads” by his little brother — but Dan just likes to think of himself as someone who gets paid to blog. Which, he says, is pretty damn cool.
